Anyone else not in the beach mood lately?
I think cause it's been so gross out!! I've had class for the past two weeks and was away last weekend so I haven't been in the sun/at the beach. I'm going crazy - but I just can't seem to drag myself out - it's so humid and gross! I think it's also because it seems lately that I have things I have to do in late afternoon so I can't spend a lot of time there...

I'm generally not a beach-type of person, so I know what you are saying....the sun and heat really gets to me.

ummmm.. NO!!! just kidding.. actually I just went once this week on one of the hot days- but the beach had a breeze so it was nice. Days like this- absolutely not. But Miki we are spoiled since we can just decide last minute and walk up to the beach!!!

I'm the opposite. I'm ghostly white and would love to go to the beach. I'm going to visit my parents on LI for the weekend and hoped to go down to the beach, but the forecast doesn't look too good.

I am not a big fan of beaches UNLESS, they are white or black sand and have crystal clear water...like the Carribbean or Mexico, FL, someplace like that. I dont swin in water I cant see the bottom in because of the creepy crawleys down there) and If I am gonna lay in the hot sun for hrs, i need to cool off every so often.
Pools are perfect for me!

I can't even manage to drag myself outside to the pool - I just want to hide on in the A/C lately

I haven't been in a beach mood since I took my 1st trip to the Caribbean YEARS ago
sorry, but the beaches here don't compare. I do love to stroll with DH at the beach though. but only during the off seasons.

This is the kind of weather where I stick to my chair because of the humidity. I was at the beach twice. Not more than two hours each time....
And this summer is going to be over before I know it. At least I like Fall.

No, I love the beach, I just hate driving there.  Granted, where I am now is a hop, skip and a jump away from water, THERE IS NO BEACH!!! But I love the smell of salt water wafting in the windows. Anyway, no, I'd just like to go to the beach without DH insisting we bring the apartment with us!

LAtely, I feel like I look HORRIBLE in a two piece and that's probably what demotivates me from going...I also hate the dark water with the creepy crawlies..as someone else already mentioned..

I live on the beach also- and prefer to sit by the pool
I am usually the only at the pool in my whole building- everyone goes to the beach!

too hot, too much sand, the kids start fighting because they hate when sand gets stuck on them from the sunscreen, they are hungry, need to go to the bathroom, are too hot, throw sand at each other, and I have no patienc since in my mind the beach os for sleeping and readin a good book, 3 kds don't exactly allow this. So...the pool works for me!!!!

I went on that really hot day this week and it was NICE! but days like today, ehh, I don't like when it's overcast. Even the pools here where I live are so damn hot you can hardly lay out!

I haven't been to the beach once this summer so far. I usually go to a small private beach by my house just to relax, but since this crazy weather and now that we got a pool I have not gone.
