Anyone else have pain the belly button?

I can't really explain it other than to say that it feels like my belly button/naval area is very tender and almost feels black and blue. Just brushing up against it hurts a lot. Of course Kiera does not understand this and she has decided that she needs to touch my belly all the time now.

I'm going to the doctor on Thursday for my routine check up so I'll make sure to mention it to her but I was just curious if anyone has had this happen, what it could be and did you find that doing anything made it feel better? I didn't have this with DD so this is a new one for me. People joke around and say it must be because the baby is big, but I don't think that's it. Any thoughts?

yes!! My belly button hurts!!! I brush up against stuff all the time and hit into it and its so sore!! My belly button is totally popped out, but even before it was popped out, it was sore and iget a shooting pain in it. Did you find out anything more about belly button pain? If so.. definitely post what ya found out! Ill ask my dr. tomorrow when i go for my sono..

i was actually going to post about this yesterday.. i am only 16 1/2 weeks, but i have been having pain/soreness in my belly button for a couple of days now. i have no idea what it is but it never lasts long.

Holy cow -- YES!!!

My belly button is absolutely killing me these past few weeks. It hurts to the touch and it looks so weird!!

I really don't know what to do about it...

Yes. I wouldn't necessarily say it was a pain, as much as it's just very tender to the touch.

Mine has been very sore and my DS is always leaning on it. Ouch! Actually the whole area around my belly button is sore. It almost feels like my belly is sunburned and hurts when my shirt rubs on it. I assumed it was just from the skin stretching.

I have had soreness around my belly button for a while, it feels like it's bruised! I asked the dr. at my last appointment and she said it's normal.
