Anyone else ever take a pg test and get disappointed it was negative (when you weren't trying?)

Lol. Sorry about being so wordy.

2 weeks ago I took a test. I was late with my period and I knew we weren't careful one day. I'm kind of at the point where I would welcome a pregancy with open arms but we decided to wait until the summer....

Anyways...the test was negative. Half an hour later it was positive, clear as day. Then i got AF. I realize it was an evap line, but boy oh boy was it a very strong one!!

Since then I've felt bummed about not being PG. I know the summer isn't long to wait, and lord knows Johnny is a handful....but the baby fever is so so bad!!!!

Guess I just needed to vent. I can't wait for another little bundle someday!!!

It may have been a chemical pregnancy. The same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. I took 8 HPTs. 4 Positive 4 Neg but my BW came out neg. We definitely weren't trying since DD wsa only 8 weeks old at the time but once I saw those positive lines I got so happy then when my blood came back negative I was so dissapointed. I understand how you feel....it will happen at its time.

I think all the new pregnancies on here are giving everyone baby fever

happened to me , last month i was not feeling right and thought i could have been pregnant, even though we weren't trying and i was on the pill (i had taken antibiotics and forgot that that decreases the pills effects). well HPt was neg and i got my AF, but i was def very very disappointed (as was DH, which shocked me b/c he wants to wait for #2 another year or so). but truthfully ,nows not the right time for us to be trying anyway, so it worked out fine that i wasn't

That happened to me this month...we haven't been careful & my AF is always either 28 days or 35 days since DD...well I was on my 36 day & decided to take a test & it was negative. I was bummed...even though we didn't plan on TTC until the summer. Baby fever is bad here too.

Honestly...yes. A week or two ago. I never got AF in January (not sure why) and I too a PG test. It was negetive. 1/2 of me was glad 1/2 of me was bummed.
