Anyone else 8-9 month old not napping in the morning?

If I am out they will nap, they won't nap so long as they used to in the morning anymore. they are 8.5 months, I miss the long nap.

Steven's not napping AS long, but he still naps. Now, the afternoon...that's up in the air.

Maybe if you try putting them down earlier? I notice now that he is more active, I have to nap him earlier because he tires out quicker.

I actually have the opposite problem - I think DD is napping more! I don't know if it is the heat or the increase in activity - or maybe something to do with her teeth coming in?

Yesterday morning she napped for 3 hours - right through when she normally eats lunch so we were thrown off about an hour and she took two more naps after that.

I feel like I am stuck in the house since she seems to be getting cranky more if she doesn't sleep.

I have a bunch of errands to run today but I am waiting until DH gets home from work since DD is actually napping right now - after napping for almost 2 hours this morning.

If what they say is true about sleeping/growing, I am going to have one big girl!
