Anyone buy maternity clothes early...

and find that they were too big through your entire pregnancy?

I am pushing 5 mts, andmy stomach is definitely round - rounder than the rest of me - so my regular clothes are no longer fitting - but the maternity clothes I bought are still so big - they hang on me, and look ridiculous - i have a few pairs of pants that look normal... I'm wondering, will they fit in my 3rd trimester, or are they always going to be really big???

I think it depends what size you bought but you should definitly fit into it. I started wearing matnerity pants around 5 months and some of the stuff was big but it did end up fitting by the end.

You're in that in-between stage right now. Why not try getting a few cheap tops at H&M, just in a larger than usual size until your maternity stuff fits? And don't worry - it WILL fit at some point

Also- I recommend only buying a few pieces at a time that fit you right now... you have no idea how big or small you'll be, and when... just buy a little bit at a time as needed to prevent getting things that don't fit

I found some big discrepancies in maternity clothes.

I bought some pants at Target but I am sure that they won't fit me at full term.

Then I went to another store and I could not wear their pants yet.

When I started buying, they tags always say "buy your pre-pregnancy size". Well, I grew out of that real fast and am already on the next size up. You probably will grow more in your 3rd tri, so hang onto what you have.

i'm due a month before you and all my maternity pants are still to big, i've been using a Bella Band and that has definitely helped a ton.
