Any petite ladies shop modcloth?
I am looking for a dress to wear for a formal christening. I wanted something different. I found a bunch of dresses on modcloth but they don't seem to carry petite sizes. At 4'11", I usually don't have much luck with standard size dresses. Have any petite ladies bought at modcloth and had success?
I checked asos, which does have petite, but nothing stuck out. I usually but banana republic or Ann Taylor petite, sometimes I find something at century 21. Any other suggestions for something a little different?

I have a ton of stuff from there! I'm also 4'11 and between a size 2-4. Maxi dresses have to be shortened but in general things tend to fit very well. I'm usually a small in their clothes.

their sizes are like junior ... so they fit petite really well. I'm 5'2 and never had a problem. My sister is 5'7 and says everything is too short for her, she buys dresses and wears them as tunics and shirts.

I have a bunch of stuff from there and I am a little over 4'11 and wear a size 2-4. I have found their stuff to fit me pretty well although as mentioned, the longer stuff like maxi dresses always needs to be altered on me. But, the cocktail length dresses I have never had a problem with

I imagine they would fit petite well, because I am tall and EVERYTHING from there is so short on me! Its a bummer because I love their stuff!

You definitely don't need petite sizing at modcloth. Like a pp mentioned, they fit like juniors clothing. I always find the reviews to be really helpful- most of the reviews include a person's height/weight and what size they ordered. I'm always a little hesitant to order something from there without those types of reviews. I do have a few dresses from there- two of them needed to be altered (on hemmed, one had the bust taken in) but they were such nice quality for such a great price that it wasn't a big deal for me to do the alterations.
ETA: I've never actually returned anything, but they seem to be pretty customer service oriented, especially if you leave a negative review on the product. They always send an e-mail in response and leave a comment back.
