Re: antique furniture?
just be careful with the crib, i know there are tons of new safety features on new cribs that wont be present in antiques - i personally wouldnt get an antique crib. im sure there are new cribs that have an old world look to them and meet the new safety standards.
check craigslist or local antique shops. theres a few in the northport, huntington area.

This thread-- case in point on old cribs
There are so many antique stores on the Island. There are a few good ones in Northport Village that I've always gone too. Right on Main Street.
