Antibiotics While Pregnant?
Ugh I think I have strep! I have a dr. appt today and I'm hoping I don't, but I have white dots all over my throat. Are antibiotics safe during pregnancy?

Amoxicillan- I was diagnosed with strep when I was 6 weeks pregnant.
I was upset- but honestly, an untreated bout of strep is WAY more dangerous than amoxicillan.

Don't worry too much. Iwas given zithromax since I am allergic to Pen.

I went to the doc and she did the rapid strep test and it came back negative so that's a good thing. She did give me an RX for Zythromax in case my sore throat doesn't go away in the next few days. I'm not planning on taking it unless it gets really unbearable and I develop a fever.
