I have that block but got it from my friend's DD. It's three years old.
ETA: It's only ones that have a small tag on the green block that is a 3 digit code. So it looks like only new ones. If you go to Baby Einstein's website and put in the code on the gren block it will tell you if they are the ones being recalled.

DS has these blocks and LOVES them and chews on them everyday. W T F? Can we not give our kids anything. Maybe we should start making our toys in the US for christ sake where we have laws!

Well, considering I cut the tag off the blocks, I have NO idea if it's recallled or not. I guess I'll just throw it away. So annoying!!

we have these blocks too why the f@3$ cant we make things in the USA this is so ridiculous is there anything safe now!!!!!!!!!!!!! 
i dont care that the only 1 recalled is the blue block they are all going from my house

I still have the box with a matching model code but when I called them, the rep said that the blacks I have are not the ones affected going from the tag on the green block.
ETA: She said they switched manufacterers about 3 months ago.

I totally blame the companies for this and wonder if they were made in the US if it would be any different. Cutting cost is more important then our childrens health to these corporations. Now where's my pocket knife I've got some wood to whittle. Tyler wants a toy car!!!

If things were made here, then the toys would be so expensive we wouldn't be able to purchase so many- and there is a reason why they are so inexpensive, b/c the goods are NOT regulated over there....
