Another tipping question
We are moving into our new house on Monday. Am I supposed to tip at the new house? We are definitely taking care of the people at our apartment (ie doormen, concierge, porters, mailmen, etc). I don't think the former owners tipped the mailmen and the garbage men. How will they know we are new owners?

Felice- Perhaps tip a small amount - i.e. get an $8 bottle of wine or a GC to starbucks for $5 and attach a note saying - Happy Holidays from the New Owners.
DH and I are debating what to do as well. We have only been here a month so we are giving our BIL $ to tip our old doormen.
