Another swaddling question..
Ok.. usually i swaddle jacob at night since he is a huge arm flailer using the miracle blanket. Thing is, he is getting too long for it. He is about 27" long and he doesnt fit it in lengthwise anymore, so i have been just swaddling his arms, and letting his legs free. Problem is since his legs are free, he is sqirming and kicking his legs alot at night and his arms are coming loose. Is there something else i can use? Or is it just time to give up the swaddle?? I just know that if i let his arms free which i've tried a few nights ago, he puts them in front of his face and plays with them or he brings them up to his face and head and scratches himself or pulls his hair.. (weird i know).. and he wont go to sleep cause he's so BUSY!
also, when do their body movements get more smoother? He's still kicking his legs alot mostly just his right leg... it's so disturbing at night its like he has restless leg syndrome.. just when i think he's sleeping.. bang bang bang goes his leg(s)...
This child baffles me...

The swaddle me comes in size large, maybe that would help.
