That's very cute! If we didnt' already have an easle with mag. letters and also the leapfrog fridge letters then I might consider that. I've never seen that before! Thanks for posting! Chat Icon

Be careful if youre giving it to Andrew to play with. If it fits inside a toilet paper roll, it's too small. for example, look at the letter I, maybe im overreacting)..
and esp something that has magnets, and is an old toy (eta: you had posted that it was vinatage right? just a heads up, im overly nuts with certain things..

Re: Another Sesame Street Board on Ebay...

Sometimes magnetic letters are pretty dangerous. My older son had a set and all the little magnets came out of the letters. I pulled out all the (rest of the) magnets and HOT GLUED them all back into the letters, and again, they fell out. Chat Icon They went in the garbage.

The ONLY magnetic letters that I have EVER had any luck with are the BIG ones sold at Lakeshore (Teacher's Supply store).

it says for 3 yrs and older. they put warnings on toys for a reason. i would nto give this to a child under 1 or 2 to play with. even supervised. you turn your head for a minutes and they can put anything in their mouths.

I think it's really cute, but call me a Nervous Nellie - there's no way I'd let my 20 month old play with that (although he's a kid who puts *everything* in his mouth!)Chat Icon My 3 year old can't even play with certain toys if his brother's not napping. Chat Icon

Good point!! I was going to look at it becasue Miranda loves Sesame Street. The fridge phonics letters are much safer I think so we'll stick with those.

hard candy makes me cringe, his Godmother had bought it for him the day before (sounds so made up, i know Chat Icon) and I had a half bag left, so I used it to my advantage Chat Icon

Just so everyone can rest easy it is not for Andrew for now. I don't think he really cares about the ABC's right nowChat Icon

I am saving it for him when he gets older.
