Another Lost Question...

What is everyone thinking of the new season?

ETA: I really loved the first episode, but I think it is going downhill. Don't get me wrong, I keep watching it- but I just don't think it is as good as it has been in the past. And those new Losties are bugging me!

I'm a fan of both actors (the new losties) so I'm trying to give them a chance. But they do seem a little extraneous right now.

Like they thought..."We don't have enough sexy people on this show, let's add some more!"

But I'm still intrigued by where the whole thing is going.

I'm riveted by both Juliette and Ben and next week looks really good!

I remember watching season one (on DVD) and at teh beginning of each episode I said "This is the last one", but I kept watching more and more cause the end was always a great cliffhanger moment. Now, I don't get that feeling at the end. I still look forward to Lost Wednesdays, but I need more mysteries and intrigue and action.

Next week looks good, so hopefully it will get better from here. If we get through the whole season with no answers on the others and why they are there - I will be piss-ed!

ETA: I don't like the new people just because they seem random and Idon't handle change well, but I actually really liked that actress in Related, so I will give her a chance If they didn't kill off so many of the main characters, they wouldn't need to randomly get others involved (I did laugh when she said something about always being left out!)

It "feels" different... I think the producers are trying to make the show more for the audience now and not as deep. But I am still a huge fan!

I thought last nights episode was great, but other than that I think the season has been really boring.

DH keeps saying it has "Jumped the shark"...I agree somewhat...doesn't have the same feeling....unless Sawyer is on

I may be wrong here, but the whole intrigue of the show was the questions you were left asking yourself at the end of the show, the answers never given. It kept people coming backing hoping they would get some answers out of the many questions left up in the air. But eventually the viewer became frustrated, rather than intrigued. The writers hearing the frustration of the viewer decided to give them what they wanted, answers. Now that show is halfway done (6 seasons) and is beginning to answer some of those questions, it seems people are not happy. I actually think this is a pretty good season. We've gotten to know exactly who the others are and how/where they live, more indepth understanding of characters, the aftershock of the hatch, where the polar bears came from, and the departure of 2 main characters making it off the island. Just my two cents, but it seems we are finally getting the answers we've been waiting for.

I just don't feel like we've gotten ANY answers. Unless I've been missing something ... we know where the polar bears came from? We *know* that Walt & Michael made it off the island? And I feel like I know NOTHING about the Others except that they aren't the dirty vagrants they seemed to be.

I'm thoroughly annoyed but don't feel like I can stop watching because I'm afraid that day I don't watch, all of the answers will be given

Its funny...we are watching it here in the UK as its on in the states and we BLOODY LOVE IT! Its the highlight of our week at the moment. We don't really care if we don't get any answers, we just love to speculate!


As I say to my husband after EVERY episode...You couldn't make this stuff up!!!

I think this is the worse season ever. Al they do each week is concentrate on a character and it just seems to take away from the story line. Have these people just be come content to live on this iskand. Doesn;t anyone care if Michael and Walt made it home?? You;d think after all this time we'd have some clue what is going on.
