ankles so swollen...
any thoughts? what should i do? i'm trying to get my doctor on the phone, but its busy busy busy......
i thought they would go down from last night, and when my husband saw them today he was really worried......they're really bothering me too!!! any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

My sister had this last week, the doc told her to keep her legs elevated, watch the salt intake and drink a lot of water.
I hope you feel better.

I took someone's advice on here and I lay on the floor, butt against the wall and legs extended straight up the wall. That really helps me a lot. Then after that, I go and lay on my left side for about a half hour, that seems to do the trick. It doesn't matter what I eat, when I am working, by the end of the day, my ankles are HUGE. It's just being on them all day, and even sitting down every now and then does nothing to help me.

I agree with Rachel. I also had this a few weeks ago. Believe it or not, drink more water! If you are retaining water drinking more will flush your system out. Also watch your salt intake. Do what Rachel suggested as well. I did and do all of these things and it really helps!

just spoke to the doctor.....thanks girls!!!
heading home from work and am now on bed rest for the weekend. great, right?! he wants me to go get my blood pressure taken too. i just had an emotional breakdown in my boss' office. i'm such a mess....its ridiculous!!
have a great weekend everyone....my internet at home is out, so i won't be on most likely!!!

Feel better Bedrest is best so you drink that water! I am on partial bedrest since 26 weeks, I'd rather do the weekend than everyday! Listen to that doc!
