Amnio ?

For anyone who had an amnio done when did you get the results? My doctor said it takes 7-10 days, but they usually come back on the 8th day. Today is the 8th day and I'm waiting so far no news yet.

Any insight you can give would be greatly appericated.

I was told about 10 days, but it was closer to about 2 1/2 to 3 weeks later
I think that was my Dr's office fault though. Call you Dr's office and see if they have the results yet.

I think mine came back around 8 or 9 days, it was longer than a week, I know that.

I got part of it back with in a week (the sex ) and the rest with in 2 weeks. It was the longest wait of my life!!

OMG! I will die if I have to wait 2-3 weeks. They said it normally comes back on the 8th day. I called and nothing yet. I'm losing my mind. My story is pretty complicated and I have a 50% chance that the amnio will come back positive. At 15 weeks I was told that my baby has a cystic hygroma on the neck. A lot of times its associated with chromosmal disorders. Other times it resolves in utero. I'm now 17 weeks and waiting....

Mine came back the next day... but it was the end of my preg. and they were only running one test vs. the many the run in the beg. of preg.
