Amber Heard donates ALL $7 million of her divorce settlement from Johnny Depp to help battered women and sick children
Amber Heard is giving away every penny from the $7 million divorce settlement she got from Johnny Depp to charities that help battered women and sick children.
Heard, 30, told TMZ she is donating the money to both the American Civil Liberties Union and the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, where she says she has worked as a volunteer for 10 years.
The money will divided equally between the two charities.
'Money played no role for me personally and never has, except to the extent that I could donate it to charity and hopefully help those less able to defend themselves,' Heard said about the bitter divorce battle with her famous ex-husband.

I'm just shocked she divorced JOHNNY DEPP and only came away with $7 million?
Maybe she signed a prenup and this was more of a hush hush settlement ?

Yeah, but they were only married for 15 months, so that must be why. I read there was no prenup.
I'm not surprised about him actually. He always seemed a little off his rocker to me.

What was the text message?
It was text messages between her and Johnny's personal assistant, after one of the times he allegedly beat her up. She seemed scared to stay with him, and the assistant was trying to convince her not to leave him.

Good for her! It just makes me so sad that this is what people need to hear to believe a woman is telling the truth about being abused. I'm sure some people still don't believe her.
