Amazon prime account sharing question
Hi all - if you share an amazon prime acc with someone, can they see the purchases you've made? Also, does everyone get access to the streaming video etc? Thanks!

Amazon prime account sharing question
I believe when you share it you can only share the 2 day shipping and nothing else. I'm pretty sure they can't see purchases either.
ETA - I just checked and it says you can share the shipping with up to 4 people but the other benefits can't be shared

Actually it's no & no.
They cannot see purchases made & they do not have access to streaming video, music & books.
UNLESS you are sharing your user name & password, then they have access to everything.

Actually it's no & no.
They cannot see purchases made & they do not have access to streaming video, music & books.
UNLESS you are sharing your user name & password, then they have access to everything.
This is true. Only the primary account that paid for the prime gets the video streaming and you can't see what other accounts order.

Only the primary account holder has access to videos/streaming/etc. Everyone else mainly gets the 2 day shipping benefit. I can't see anyone else's purchases.

yes and yes
Its no and no.
They cannot see your purchases and you cannot share streaming, you are only sharing the 2-day shipping.

Amazon prime account sharing question
Thanks everyone. I was asking about adding people to the account, because it says online you can add up to 4 ppl. I know that if I were to give someone my login and pw they could see what I've purchased, bc they would be logging into my acc.

Share Your Amazon Prime Benefits
Free or paid Amazon Prime members can share their shipping benefits with up to four additional family members living in the same household. If you purchase a Prime membership for a small business, you may invite up to four co-workers to shop with this corporate account. Other Amazon Prime membership benefits such as Prime Instant Video, Prime Music, and the Kindle Owners' Lending Library can't be shared.
To manage sharing your Amazon Prime membership:
Go to Manage Prime Membership .
Click Invite a household member.
You can then do the following:
Share your membership by entering the name, relationship, birthday, and e-mail address of the person you'd like to share the membership with along with your birthday.
Note: The person you invite will need to know the month and day of your birthday to accept the invitation.
Stop sharing your membership with someone by selecting the bullet next to their name and then click Remove.
Note: Amazon Student members receiving Amazon Prime shipping benefits as part of a free trial and customers receiving free 30 days of Amazon Prime benefits with Kindle Fire won't be able to share their membership. All existing shared household members will continue to receive shipping benefits if the primary member switches to the Amazon Prime shipping benefits offered by one of these programs, however, the primary member won't be able to add or change shared household members if they move to one of these programs.
