Am I turning into an old fart?
We moved into this apartment complex 8 years ago, and there is a pool here..
IN the past 7 years, I could not wait for the pool to open, and I would religiously be in there every day after work, all day saturday, and all afternoon sundays, whether it was 75 or 105...
Now it has opened, and is 97 degrees out, I think its too hot to go in, and I rather sit in the house w/ AC...
Am I turning into an old fart?

No your not a old fart, Believe me i was at work all day and couldn't wait to get home to be in the Ac, Sometimes swimming in warm pool water is like swimming in a Hot tub, I rather have the cold water than Warm water.

I would much prefer the ocean---and RI is the Ocean State---too bad the freekin ocean is almost an hour away!!!!!

I took DS to the Dr. and my parents live on the way home. So, we made a pit stop. DS went in (My mom keeps extra swimmie diapers & bathing suits for the boys). I watched from the side. I was jealous! LOL.
I think tomorrow we will make another pit stop and this time make sure I have my suit with me.
I love the AC and at the same time hate being indoors.

No your not an old fart. I was the same way when i had my pool and it was 100 out. I would say it was too hot to go in the pool and I used to get the funniest looks from my mom.

With me it's laziness sometimes.
I came home from work today and was so tired and cranky.
I didn't even want to put on my suit, go out there- get all wet.
I just wanted to lay on the couch with the AC on and watch TV.
Weekends are another story- i'm out there from morning till night.

No, I don't think you're an old fart! I have a pool in the yard and on a day like today I'd much rather sit inside in the AC. It's just too hot and sticky outside and the water isn't even cool ... just lukewarm. It's not really refreshing at all.

Oh I'd do the pool!!!!
I did the pool today...the fact that it was only 2 inches deep and a kiddie pool didnt matter much...DS enjoyed having me there with him..who was I to argue?
