Am I the only one with a 2.5 year old still in the crib?
Bryan still is in his crib and does not climb out. He still seems comfortable in there. Should I move him to a bed?

NO!!! Keep him in there for as long as you can! lol
The only reason why I moved my son into teen furniture (we didn't do a toddler bed; didn't want to transition twice, nore spend money on something temporary), is because I was pregnant with number 2 and I didn't want to buy another crib.

my DS turned 2 in december and I have no plans on moving him out of the crib anytime soon..
I don't feel the need to rush it, since he isn't trying to climb out or anything..

My DD is still in her crib--she'll be 2.5 in March. I don't understand the rush to a toddler bed unless they're jumping out or injuring themselves in some way. I plan on keeping her in the crib until the summer at least.

DD isn't quite 2.5 yet but she's still in the crib and we have no problems. I don't plan to move her until I have to.

My DD is still in he crib and he will be 2.5 next month... He will be coming out of the crib by March and we will be purchasing big boy furniture shortly since #2 is due in May.. That is the only reason we are taking him out...
There was absolutely no rush to get him out of the crib... That was one of the big tips my friends with older children said to do and I think that advice is great...

If it is working for you then I think it's OK. Atleast he isn't in bed with you.
Jack is in bunk beds he got them right before his second birthday and went into a toddler bed at about 14 months and for us it was such an easy transition and he loved it. But we also did it because of the pregnancies. We thought we would be needed the crib early then we did.

Sarah is almost 3 and still in a crib. Anytime I ask her if she wants a big girl bed she cries and tells me "NOOOO! I love my crib!"
But she is stubborn and doesn't like change. Everything has to be just so in her crib before she'll lay down to go to sleep.

I just took my son out recently he is almost 2.5. We had to take him out to give my dd the crib. Honestly he would of still been in there...he loved it and never tried to climb out.
He is in a toddler bed now with his crib mattress.

Unless there is a safety need to take them out I'm all for letting them stay in the crib as long as possible. I had an 18 month old crib jumper and transitioning to a bed was so hard at that age. But we had to so he would't hurt himself.
