Am I the only mom of 2 that feels this way?

I am TERRIFIED of going out alone with the kids. I ALWAYS take DH or grandma with me for fear of not being able to handle the kids alone.

There is a festival on Sat that I want to go to and DH is working and Grandma has plans.

I'm a FREAK....

I did in the very beginning but not anymore.

I say give it a whirl. Plan ahead, make sure you have snacks and drinks and have fun. The worst thing that happens is that it becomes too much and you leave. At least you tried and got out of the house. The more you do it the easier it gets.

We have no family in town so I have no choice but to either take the kids by myself (if DH is not available) or stay at home. Staying at home got old real fast.

I am not terrified but I hate bringing the two of them to a mall or something where they dont have shopping carts ! Once is 2 yrs old and all over the place, my dd is still in her infant carrier so I can't handle the two alone. The problem is I still don't have a double stroller, If I could find one that I like, I think it would be easier ! It does get better and you are lucky to have help usually !! I have taken them both out since day 1 by myself! I'd never go anywhere if I waited for DH!! I'm on my own with them 6 out of 7 days usually...
