Already being asked about having a second child....
What is the deal??! Our first baby is not even here and people are asking when we plan on second! Is that insane to anyone else? I just say "well let's see how it goes with one".
People are too much!

Well it was all married people with multiple kids some my parents age, some a few yrs older than me. It has been several people over the last cple months. It just seems so odd to me!

This is our 2nd and people are asking me when we are having a 3rd  , I say "never, done!" If DH wants more, I don't know who will be having them!

So true. But this is how it goes...
When are you getting engaged?
(th minute you get engaged) when is the wedding?
(at the wedding reception) When are you having kids?
(as you are pushing out number 1) When are you having number 2?
I've learned that it never. freaking. ends.

i know exactly what you mean. I have def. gotten that from people and when I tell them we would like to wait a while (start TTC when this one is 3 1/2 - 4) they think we are nuts. "Just get it done with."
No matter what you say, do or want to do someone is always going to have something to say. Im sorry to say that people who have children already (especially younger families, like my siblings) have the MOST to say. They think they know everything just bc they already have kids. I hope I remember these words and do not become that!!

my SIL got a onesie for her daughter from my other SIL that says "My Mom Doesn't Want Your Advice"
I told SIL "um...can you make sure to get one of those for my LO when the time comes please?? thank you very much!!"

with twins people either automatically just comment "oh one shot and you're done!" which annoys me bc how do they know if we only want two kids?!
or people constantly ask if we are done after this...my response is always "Let's make it through this pregnancy and see how it goes before making any decisions"
