All Natural Flea and Tick Prevention

I've currently been using Frontline and recently switched to K9 Advantix for the mosquitos. I don't want to use those topics anymore for fear that I'm doing damage to my pups. I haven't had a bad experience you just never know.

I know greenfreak uses bug-off but I was wondering if anyone else had an alternative?

My dogs would smell the bug off and not eat their food. Im reading up on the shampoo and conditioner, sprays and herbal collars. Just not sure which route to take. TIA

we use Dirty and Hairy, I swear it works. My dog is prone to getting ticks and we spray it on her and it repels the ticks and fleas. The only thing you have to keep spraying since it wears off. But it smells great and humans can use it too.

I think it got it at petco

If you do a search on Neem Oil there are a ton of products with it and they work.

Re: All Natural Flea and Tick Prevention

I don't currently use anything but I use a flea comb daily on my dog as well as feel for ticks daily. I tend to have more trouble with fleas than ticks though. I have an organic shampoo that kills the fleas that I use and I just stay REALLY on top of it. If I see him scratching excessively I immediately check him over. It is very time consuming but I am extremely against putting pesticides on my dog. So far so good. Did the same last year.
