Alex survived her first day of camp
She swam in the little baby pool, she played soccer, took a nice 2 hour nap, munched on strawberries with her friends, and played outside until Mommy came to pick her up  And, the best part of all, her favorite, favorite teacher of all time, Kathleen, who also happens to be her babysitter, is the late-care teacher from 3:30-5pm.
Kathleen told me that she was a little clingy at late care because there were a lot of older kids, but overall, she acclimated very well to her new class, and had a lot of fun. And, when I came to pick Alex up at the end of the day, she ran to Kathleen, gave her a big hug and kiss, and then ran to me, hugged me and said "I wuv oooo"  (though, I have to say, it loses it's meaning when she hugs Sparky and says "I wuv ooo" every morning  )
