Alaskan Cruise - Has anyeone taken one?!
We are thinking of taking a cruise to Alaska...does anyone have their own review? I don't know anything about cruise ships....Love to hear your comments!!

We took one this past August. We had a fabulous time. We were on the celebrity summit for 7 days from seward to vancouver. We booked our excursions when we got on the ship we wanted to take it day by day. We did a helicopter ride and walk on the glacier it was fantastic. Ketchichan was nice but we got rain - don't do the underwater sub excursion it was horrible and a waste of money. We loved all of the other cities. The Hubbard glacier was amazing seeing it break off piece by piece.

Kerrycec went on an Alaskan cruise for her honeymoon. From what I remember, she said it was amazing!! That is definately something I want to do.

I went on one when I was 13, so unfortunately I do not remember most of the details. My parents are going for 2 wks this summer. They are cruising for 7 days and spening another seven days at bed and breakfasts and hiking. They have done a TON of research, so FM me with a particular area or excursion that you are interested in and I can ask my mom for some dets

I haven't gone on one. But know 3 people who have and all loved it. I don't think I ever heard a bad thing about an Alaskan Cruise.

go to cruisecritic.com and explore the forum sites there. You will get all the info you need. My DH was just as addicted to those chat forums as I am here! We went last summer and the trip was great!! FM me if you have any specific questions.

We went two summers ago on Princess cruise lines from Seattle.
It was a lot of fun, and we loved the excursion choices. The only bad part was the weather (we had the worst luck - not a SINGLE day without rain!)
You won't regret it if you decide to go! It was a great trip.
