Advil Cold and Sinus Question! -
Ok - I have this terible sinus issue and my DR recommended Advil Cold and Sinus. I took it yesterday (you are suppose to take 2 caplets and I only took 1 caplet, two times yesterday) and that did the trick.
Last night I started panicking because, aside from being crazy and a hypocondriac, I was nervous because I drink wine everyday (usually 2 glasses) and I am worried now about my liver and my stomach bleeding !!! You know, from the acidominphen...
Now, the problem is that I want to take another pill this morning because my head is killing me - should I be worried?
I never take anything OTC for anything - not even when I just have a headache, I just let it play itself out. But for this sinus thing, I just feel like I need to take this stuff to function for the next few days - any thoughts?
Thanks! I am crazy....ugh....I hate being a worry wart...it makes my head hurt more!

I SWEAR by Advil Cold & Sinus, I need to take 2 though.
I don't think you have anything worry about (drink wise). I wouldn't make a habit out of it though.

I have occasionally had a drink while taking reg advil. I was told it was ok, but not to make a habit of it. I'm sure that if you ask a Doctor, they would not recommend it.

I've definitely taken it with alcohol...you'll be fine.
On another note, has anyone else had to sign and show ID when buying the stuff? Something about the ingredients in there used to make "meth" so now we have to show ID to buy Advil Cold and Sinus? I thought it was really weird...I mean are they going to track how much I buy and then break into my house to see if I have a meth lab or something???

YES! Since I never take OTC stuff, when I went to buy it on Monday I was confused! On the shelf where it would be, there are pieces of paper that you rip off and take to the pharmacy. They then get the product from behind the counter and made me fill out a sheet with my name, address, phone, age and the product that I was buying....

I have had to show ID for it at Walmart, but not at Eckerd.
