Adopting a dog
We have a 2 and a half year old boggle now and have been discussing getting another dog for a few months and we really want to adopt our next dog...Are there websites that have info on this? I know of North Shore but are there other local adoption places as well?

There are better places then North Shore. You can do a search on petfinders.org.
Little Shelter in Huntington, NY is amazing. I was there last week and they take immaculate care of there rescues.
Also try some kill shelters like NYCACC.
