Can i get them polished red or is that cheeesssy i know they have to be short! (that is not a problenm for me)

i like it for my colorings. so no i dont think its cheesy @ all.

Why do they have to be short??
Because there is a fine line wiht red from it going from classy to trashy. Even long red nails are nice as long as they are:
all one length
not 3 inches long
NOT CHIPPED!!! (that applies for short nails too)

That was my point...
My nails are long, not super long and I wear red. And, I like it.
IMO super long nails with ANY color look like crap, not just red.

I think it depends on the person, the nails and the actual color red..
if you are talking about that bright, fire red....BLEH...i personally don't care for it no matter what length the nails are...

I like deeper reds (not bright red) on nails that are fairly short. I only wear red if I'm wearing a black gown to a wedding or something, and I generally tire of red very fast. I always keep my nails in either light beige, French, or in the summer, pinks. I'm boring!

I like the medium to dark reds. I wear scarlette ohara a lot. But I do it as a french. The red on the tips and the base a natural color

I got red yesterday and I LOVE it!!
It's an OPI color called The Thrill of Brazil or something like that... it's a candy apple red. I wanted something bright, with no brown in it...
I had her cut my nails SUPER short... same length as when I did black....
I'm not down with long red nails...
