abnormal, or do i just have a big eater?

hes taking 5 oz a feeding, every 3-4 hrs. never spits up. it takes him about 45 minutes to eat.

Norm, to this day, my DS who is 6.5 maybe spit up twice. He never lets ANY food go to waste.

My boys were in the Nicu and the one thing they told me was to never let a feeding go longer than 30 min. Otherwise you feel like you're feeding around the clock. I follow that rule. Now my boys finish their bottles in 10 minutes or less. It's crazy b/c they both weigh well over 16lbs. and eat no more than a 6oz. bottle. They are 6 months today. I don't know how they got so big.

Sadie was eating about the same at that time. I thought she'd be on 8ox bottles by 2 months, but once we hit 6oz we never went up again. She is 6 months and STILL eats 6oz bottles.

We offered her 8oz bottles and she would never drink them. Now she is on solids and only 4 bottles a day and still 6 ozs!!!!

If he's going 3/4 hours at 2 weeks - sounds like you'll have a good sleeper on your hands!!
