a sappy dad at the grocery store (sappy for any mom to hear)
I was on line at the grocery store, and this dad was chatting with the cashier. then he was chatting to all of us on line, and goes, with a sad touch to his voice, "my son just graduated tonight"  from high school.....he's going away to college...
and then there was a pause, as we all said congratulations, it goes so fast, etc..
then on his way out, he stopped and goes "you know, how they say that women have that empty feeling....well so do men.... 
he left us feeling so sad for him... and just reflecting on life in general...
it really does go so fast. in 5-10 years, kids go from child to teen to adult in the blink of an eye...
