To fill (and then some) the void that will be left by Kyle XY, ABC Family gave 10-episode orders to three new series:

• 10 Things I Hate About You, based on the feature film of the same name and centered on two very different sisters. Gregory Peck's grandson, Ethan Peck, fills the Heath Ledger role.

• Perfect 10, a drama set in the world of competitive gymnastics. Susan Ward (Sunset Beach) plays the mom of one teen hopeful.

• Ruby and the Rockits, a comedy starring Patrick Cassidy as a former teen idol whose own family life is turned upside-down when his brother/ex-bandmate (David Cassidy) shows up with his newfound daughter (Spy Kids' Alexa Vega) in tow. I think I love this.

1-- I love the movie Ten Things I hate about you so I would totally love to give this show a chance.

2-- I love Susan Ward on Sunset Beach, but I have no desire to watch a show about gymnastics..
