a little late in the game..but started working on the nursery
8 months old...I was throwing a tantrum about moving so much, tantrum over and finally starting our western themed room.
here's the curtains I made...never mind Leo, he was drained from drilling the curtain rod leveled and even.
we get a lot of company, so the bed has to stay in there for now. more to come soon!
probably a lot more...I have over a year's worth of nursery envy in me

It looks so cute! Dh was looking over my shoulder and likes the animal head on the wall. Love the curtains! My mom is teaching me how to sew and she is going to show me curtains next.

Where did you get the horseshoe material for the curtains? I am working on a western-theme for my son's room, and would love to do a bed shirt and matching window valances.

that's great! I feel like all my windows are bare now I think its going to be addicting.
I bought the sewing machine off of craigs list for 40.00. I had no idea what I was doing, I copied my kitchen curtain to see where to sew. good luck! you will do great!
