Yes, I agree with you on the Mohamed story line.
I think he is not there for the right reasons, but then I saw that scene in the bar with that woman that was hitting on him and he just looked uncomfortable, so who knows? Was he drinking beer? I didn't think he could.
I also don't care for the ombre gone wrong girl from Brazil.

OMG her eyeliner drives me nuts! Yea the Mohammad story lines doesn't sit well with me. I feel bad for Danielle but they are such an awkward couple. Also I am sure the Filipino girl is here for the wrong reasons as well, I mean come on she wanted to change the ring really?
Interesting show though.

I feel like the couples from this season are a lot less genuine than last season - more "typical reality tv" stuff going on. Like they all have some big scandal or issue or something that makes for much more drama than there was last season (with the exception of the guy from PA and his south African fiancee, who seem fairly drama-free so far).
I can't stand the guy from San Jose who didn't even tell anybody he was seeing someone, let alone engaged. His girlfriend seems really sweet and he seems like such a d0uche, trying to keep her a secret from his family all this time.
Pretty sure Mohamed is only here for a green card. They're SUCH an unlikely couple, and their whole story reads like a classic scam, right down to her sending him money. And he's going to blame his religion for his abstinence so he can convince her to hurry up and get married, but then bend the rules on drinking? Convenient...

they are still together! if you go to TLC's website about this show, the DH comments alot in the comment section. the reason they didn't participate was because they didn't agree with the way the editing was done originally and how it portrayed them so they chose not to go to the reunion

Daya is a joke, i'm sorry. she wants to protect his reputation because of what people may think of him because of the ring he gave her? W T F! such a pathetic excuse, if you don't like it, say it! did you see her face when the gemologist confirmed it was a real diamond! lol!

I've actually visited there and and stayed for a little bit and the way American women act, even normally, not slutty or forward is just VERY unseemly for them. so i think he was more taken aback then anything else. he's not an unattractive man and there should have been no reason why he couldn't have found a girl back home to marry - this kinds screams green card to me too. I'm sorry, I'm no Miss America, but Danielle is 20 years older, has 4 children and is not the best looking gal, he could have done better and i feel bad for her because i feel like she is desparate to be loved in return.
Cassia, aka, Ms. Ombre Brazil, "i'm thin, i'm pretty, i can be a model" GREEN CARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she is only here for that reason only! i'm all for high confidence and self esteem, but there are millions of think girls walking the globe - not all of them can be models. and being called pretty - is all about perspective

Another couple that's concerning (forgot their names), the two virgins, he's from PA and she's from S. Africa. He can't make one move without his family and friends, and you can tell she's getting pissed.
I'm curious to see if Yamir and the blonde chick will make it too.

Out of all the couples, this one bothers me the most. He is just obviously not even the least bit interested in her. A lot of the foreign women are so obnoxious (except Amy and the one marrying the gym teacher) but I worry for Danielle the most when this falls apart.

TBH, I'm sickened that TLC is exploiting this.
I'm not so worried about the virgin couple, but I can see her being really annoyed about his meddling family. I also get a gay vibe from him. I don't know why.
Chelsea and Yemir-- Why is she so selfish? Why move to rural Illinois? He had a good career. Why didn't they move somewhere where his music would be popular?
The gym teacher and the Colombian-- his SIL is a bit crazy.
Daya-- I agree with what has been said above.
I really like this show, but I can kind of relate with it, that's why. I didn't do a fiancee visa, but rather a spouse visa and it adds extra stress to getting married.

my BIL works at the Essex House Hotel in NYC, he tells stories all the time about multi millionaires from Saudi Arabia coming to the hotel and requesting that their food be halal, no alcohol in the mini bar/fridge and all these other accomodations which they cater too. When they come in, usually straight from the airport, they come dressed in their traditional garb. but soon thereafter, they walk out dressing like any regular joe shmo on the street (granted, designer clothes, but still) and come back drunk and with prostitutes hanging off of them in the early hours of the morning.
I think his jig is up and its all an act.
