9 months PG and a meeting in NYC-WWYD
For work we we have monthly meetings. This months meeting is held in NYC on Wednesday. Friday is my last day of work before I go on maternity leave. My question to you is-would you chance going into the city for the meeting or tell your boss its too much? I'm due on Xmas.

Since you are going out on maternity leave in a few days, I would tell your boss that you are not going to go. Draggin asss at 38 weeks preggo into Manhattan is not fun.

i told my boss its too much and ill prob go into labor on the train with my luck. he completely understood. this is the first thing ive told him I cant do something since being pg...

I know my DH and family wouldn't have let me go that far along. I think you made a good decision.

Before my first child I probably would have said go for it. BUT, I went into labor, progressed super fast, and 4 hours later she was born, and I was a week early. So I wont be taking any chances this time around... I'll be staying near the hospital when I start getting close. lol You just never know when or how it's going to happen.

I work in the city and commuted with DD # 1 when I was 9 months pregnant. I plan to do the same for this one so I don't really see it as a big deal. However if your boss was ok with it then I'd totally not go.

ITA with you not going. I went into labor at work and I work over an hour from home and the hospital. Having to drive by myself on the LIE for an hour while denying I was in labor was NOT fun. As long as your boss understands, I would totally skip it.

I'm due a week before you and am still commuting into the city (3-4 days a week). But, if your boss will give you a pass, I'd take it.
