9 month old---waking to eat?

My son just started sttn at 8 months old....2 nights ago he woke up screaming...really crazy uncontrollable screaming at around 1230. He is teething pretty bad, but I had given him tylenol before bed, and then gave it again when he woke up...nothing was consoling him, so I gave him a bottle...he sucked it down.

He woke up again last night at 12, and my husband gave him a bottle, and he sucked it down?

Is this a growth spurt? I just don't want to get back into the routine of night feeding again...any suggestions?

At nine months old, he def doesn't need a bottle in the middle of the night. I wouldn't start that habit. Did you try just giving him a binkie and letting him soothe himself back to sleep that way?

i would give him motrin before bed instead of tylenol. it lasts longer. we had this problem too when DS was teething and the motrin took care of it.

he definitely does not need to eat Chat Icon
