80 degrees in my office....
i was wondering why I felt so warm.... checked my thermometer and it's 80 degrees in my office....

It was in the low 100's here last week and I was sweating even in the a/c.
Yeah As a dear friend pointed out, I do have access to a great pool at my Mom's house!

It's probably about that in my office. They haven't yet changed over to the AC. It sucks!

Our building shuts off the AC on the weekends, so it's always warm in here on Mondays.
However, someone also closed the door to the computer closet. The internal temperature of my servers got to 120 degrees before they shut themselves off to protect themselves.
When I got here, the temp in the closet was 95 and only after an hour and a half of the door open and a fan on did it come down to 82.
Ahh life with a small company that won't buy an AC unit for it's most precious information.

No... I think they turn the A/C on by the calendar, not the temp.... It's 80.9° now....

we have no AC in my school. try being in a room with 25 bodies, blazing sun and no ventilation in 95 degree heat in june. absolutely brutal. oh...and we are not allowed to have fans

I don't know how you guys (or the students) function like that.  My son's teacher has an a/c in her room due to some health issues, so I'm thankful for that (not for her health issues, but my son gets bloody noses from being too hot). Growing up we always had A/C the schools in MI. I'm surprised with the taxes that are paid here that they don't!

My office was 84 today. We have AC but the girls on the floor get more air then i do in my little office, so they shut it off, and I was burning up. FInally an email went out that the air will stay at 72 when it is on, and if you are cold, bring in a sweater!
