Mcdonalds ad
i Hate Mcdonalds and havnt had it it years, and i will make sure i will never have it again. THis makes me sick. Maybe they should think about what they are putting in their food above anything else.

Re: Mcdonalds ad
what am i missing? i don't get this ad? why would they compare petting a pit bull to eating a nugget? what does one have to do with the other? maybe it's just too late at night for me to put ths together

Re: Mcdonalds ad
That's so dumb that I googled it bc I didn't think it was real. Even with the pitbull thing aside why would they want to open this can of worms? I think those McChicken bites or whatever look stupid too, lol- like how many forms of nugget do they really need?

I agree. I think this ad is dumb and unnecessary.

Re: Mcdonalds ad
I get sick every time I eat at McDs, no matter what I order.
I would rather sleep with a pit bull than eat there again.

Re: Mcdonalds ad
They say in the ad "trying a new menu item at McDonald's isn't risky. You know what's risky? Petting a STRAY pit bull ..."
What's the big deal?

Duh. That's a really dumb ad if it's what you wrote above.

Re: Mcdonalds ad
Ok now I get it. I actually listened to the radio ad (which I'm sure many of you did not) and the "petting a stray pit bull" comment is only one of many things listed that are risky as well, like giving away your Facebook password.
I have to agree with KCCL, I don't see the big deal BUT I'm not a huge animal rights activist either, so I know why I don't feel strongly against the ad.
However I'd still never eat McDonalds again. I like my intestines they way they are just fine, thanks.

Re: Mcdonalds ad
I guess I just don't understand the need to target pit bulls. Petting ANY stray animal is a potentially dangerous activity. I am not a huge animals activist but this is exactly how certain breeds get a bad rap and I just don't really agree with it.

Yes! This is exactly what I was thinking. I wouldnt have minded the ad so much if they just said petting ANY stray animal is more dangerous than eating McDonalds food.

Same here. My parents have a pit who is the biggest mush ever. I havent had Mcdondals in the longest time and this will definitely keep me away even longer.
Even if I didnt find it to be false, how does this comparison even make sense? Bad marketing if you ask me.

Re: Mcdonalds ad
I guess i don't see the big deal
they had 'petting a stray pit bull' in a list of risky behavior and made a lame comparison to chosing mcnuggets as safer choice
so what? it IS risky to do that!
