5ths disease
so i work part time in an elementary school and my last call of the day was from a parent who says her child won't be in school tomorrow b/c he has 5ths disease!!! the nurse came right to me and said it's really only bad in the first trimester and being that i am so far along i shouldn't worry too much. but i did call my doctor and she said she would do a blood test at my appt tomorrow.
just be careful, i guess it is going around.

Yikes. It seems like I have been hearing a lot about this. I didn't even know this, but my Dr. tested my immunity for this during my first prenatal blood work and it turns out I have already been exposed, so I am immune to it -- who knew? I hope everything is OK with you.
