GERTYRAE is in labor....BabyMac is here!! Updated again...
She went to the OB for a check up this am. She was 4 cm dilated with bulging membranes, He sent her right to L&D.
She has now had the stitch removed.
Her water broke.
Her DH was on the train home from work, going to pick up her hospital bag at home then off to the hospital - needless to say he headed straight to the hospital instead.
So it looks like it will be a very quick labor.
Good thing she had her shower yesterday!!
Let's all send some quick and easy labor vibes for mommy and baby Colin!!
Update 5:30pm: had the epi, 9 cm...
UPDATE 6:54 pm: HE'S HERE!!! That's all I know....
OK here's the info: Colin Anthony was born after less than an hour of heavy pushing at 6:37pm tonight. He weighed in at a healthy 7 lbs. and half an oz. Due date was Aug. 12 so about 4 weeks early. Mommy, Daddy and Baby are doing just great!! And just so you can see for yourself.... Image Attachment(s):
