team green!?....what color are you painting your nursery?

yellow... but a pale yellow, the color was Behr's Oklahoma Wheat. We have a chair rail and crown molding that will be painted white.
Not done yet!!!

Doing neutral beige/tan walls. Pics in Nursery album.
A neutral beige/cream wallpaper with subtle stars on one full wall and above accent molding (higher than chair rail) on three walls, with a dark tan (BM Brunswick Tan) below the molding.
Not started yet but should soon!!

We were Team Green when we did DS's nursery and we did it a deep vanilla color - BM Heppelwhite Ivory - on top, have a white chair rail and then thick stripes of the Hepplewhite Ivory and the darkest color on that card (can't remember what right now) on the bottom.
These pics are from before DS was even born, so they're pretty old, but you get the idea.

I love that - it looks great! We did stiping in our whole master bedroom - I doubt I could ever get DH to do that again! 
Because of the bedding we chose, I think we are going with either a green or an aquaish color but leaving a center stripe around the room open. Then when the baby is born, we'll try to finish that with ether a blue or maybe purple depending on the sex. Well, that's the plan right now.

I posted pics of my nursery last week... it's a "forest" theme and the wall color is "apples and pears" it's a greenish/yellow. Very soft and nice. We also had a mural of a tree painted on the wall.
The carpet color is called "lawn" or something like that. Image Attachment(s):

We didn't change the paint color from when it was our office (slapped on a fresh coat) but added the wainscotting:
Our guest room was originally meant to be the nursery and it's painted BM Mellow Yellow.

We didn't start it yet, but we are going with either a seafoam green (DH's choice) or a robin's egg color (my choice). I like both colors, so I will probably let DH have his way.

I'm not.
I'm leaving it white...
and then I'm going to use a lot of wall art and i'm going to take the photos my DD finger painted, reduce them by size on the copier, and then mat & frame them as art.
I think I am going to try & do a bright colored nursery... but not sure how to accomplish.

We are going with BM Carlisle Cream for the walls and BM Patriotic White for the ceiling, and BM linen for the moldings and closet

at our house, we are using our guest room as the nursery. it was already conveniently painted a great color
the babies crib will actually be where that twin bed is now
ETA: the color is Behr, Celery Ice (and, it went on great, only took one coat (after one coat primer)

Hired someone... I have NO art talent at all. He did an amazing job with the detail. That's funny you say that. I have two themes picked out either boy or girl. Boy I have the "enchanted forest" and for the girl I have the "winnie the pooh" so the tree goes with either.
