4 weeks along and sharp pelvic pains

I just found out that I am pregnant in wednesday. Starting last night and this morning, I have been getting sharp pelvic pains. They are not continous - they just come and go. On a scale of 1-10, they feel like a 2 or 3. I am worried....have any of you pregnant ladies felt this the first few weeks? Please help................

I did and was told by my dr. that it was totally normal, that your uterus is expanding. In the beginning you feel alot of weird stuff with your body, all of it is pretty normal.

Would it happen so soon? It's such a odd feeling. You spend so much time trying to get pregnant and the minute you do, you start worrying if every twinge is normal.....and you have no clue what normal is.............

I had that too and was told also that it is normal and my uterus is expanding. I understand how you are feeling. Ever since I found out I was pregnant every twinge and ache has me scared something is wrong. If you are unsure call your doctor. That usually helps with peace of mind.

I agree, i get the weirdest feelings in my stomach too, but so far I keep hearing its all normal.

Don't worry. It's normal. I know how you feel. It's your uterus growing and making room for baby.

I had AF cramps that early...like normal AF cramps which are usually bad...so I'd say I had them too. I just can't remember how "sharp" they were.

I am also 4 weeks and I kinda have the same thing, I wouldn't say sharp but more annoying, but I have been getting cramping on and off for the last few days, it feels more like period cramps, it makes me so worried everytime I goto the bathroom, I am constantly checking the toilet paper!!

I am early as well, just over 7 weeks, and I can relate to worrying about every little pain. You should be fine, this is new to our bodies. Best of luck to you to a happy and healthy pregnancy.

I am 9 weeks and I still get cramping on and off...it feels like AF cramping - maybe a little more intense at times. I worry too - I still check the toilet paper every time I go to the bathroom to make sure it is not blood...
