4 Month Shots At 5 Months Old?
I'm having an insurance issue and now there is going to be a lapse in Emma's insurance and she won't be covered until September 1st. The problem is, she has a doc. visit in August for her 4 month shots. Do you think it's an issue if she gets her 4 month shots when she is 5 mos? I can't really afford to pay out of pocket for the shots and the visit. I'm planning to call the ped. office tomorrow and ask what they think, but just wondering if anyone else got their child's shots late and if it was a problem.

I am getting all of mine later for DS. My Pediatrician knows and approves of the plan.

But you still do the well visits on time right?
I should have stated in my OP that I was going to try to postpone the entire visit. I really want to try to start solids closer to 6 months, so that's not something I was going to discuss at the visit.

Summer, it's fine.
DS isn't going back to the doctor until October 2nd. He will be just over 5 months old.
Hey, if you need to swich doctors, I looovvveee mine!

Okay good. I feel better now! This kind of stuff makes me worry alllll night you have no idea  Last night it was bottles, tonight it was going to be shots and well visits. Yes I'm insane ha.
I will probably end up switching in a few months, but to the group Nicholas goes to. It's a little weird that they have different doctors, but it just happened that I didn't make arrangements with his group in time for Emma to come.

Uhhh, I am the same way. Tonight I was telling my mom how my SIL is concerned about the lack of gates at the vacation house and my mom goes "great, now you can start worrying a year in advance"
