3rd Trimester ladies...
does anyones belly ever get numb? it just happened to me for the first time. i did some research on the web and it seems to be normal. it was so weird - it was the same feeling as like a foot or something falling asleep. it said if the baby lays on a nerve or the skin is stretching it can cause it.
the 3rd trimester is so wonderful...

ooo that one hasn't happened yet but it is good to know it can. I don't know about you but the thrd trimester hit me like a ton of bricks!

yeah me too it has not been fun and the thought of 10 more weeks kills me!!! in some ways it seems so close but in other ways it seems like she is never going to get here!

wow I have never heard of or experienced both of these things...
it's so odd how many differen things happen to our bodies and how differently we all experience them.

yeah me too it has not been fun and the thought of 10 more weeks kills me!!! in some ways it seems so close but in other ways it seems like she is never going to get here!
I am with you two! My DH asked me tonight how I was feeling and I just said, uncomfortable- he said, I can't believe its still 10 more weeks- you are amazing.
Made me feel A BIT BETTER

Yep, I have had the most bizzare nerve pain. My midwife said it was perfectly normal and would go away after the baby is born. In addition to the numbness, I also get burning, itching and stabbing sensations. I can honestly say this has been the worst part of pregnancy for me (I've had it pretty easy so far).

This happened to me. A few weeks ago I was numb on my right side about 2 inches below my bra. Now the numbness has gone away but it is kind of itchy and it burns. Doctor says its normal - something about scar tissue that formed from our bellybutton up to our liver after we were born. Weird huh?
Anyways - I hate it!!
