3rd tri-ers or BTDT moms: slightly TMI question
did you guys find the quality of your CM changing in the third tri? my CM has been white, thin, and watery throughout the pregnancy, but today it is white, strand-like and stretchy, more like egg white? i'm wondering if this is normal? i'm also slightly nervous that this could be part of my mucous plug, although it really wasn't a lot of CM at all...
thoughts?

I had zero CM throughout my pregnancy, but now in the last few weeks I find myself having to wear a panty liner everyday.

Yes, for some people it does change in the third trimester
how many weeks are you? I lost my plug 4 weeks prior to going into labor.

Mine sort of tapered off for a while, which is unusual for me, but I think it is increasing again, but it's still thin.

i am 33 weeks 4 days. i am paranoid about the mucous plus because i have been having contractions since 25 weeks and have been on bed rest because of it. as of 32 weeks i am only 30% effaced and not dilated at all, but i'm still contracting and i feel like my cervix can't hold on forever... plus, my contractions have been worse for the past 2 days.
if you don't mind my asking, did you lose your plug all in one shot or little by little? and did it look like EWCM? THANKS!!!!!!

i'd like to know too. i dont know what its supposed to look like

I was told that it has to do with the cervix changing in the last trimester.
