national institute of infant nutrition survey? is this a scam or some sort?

i got this survey thing in the mail today from the "national institute of infant nutrition." normally i would just throw it out as i do anything that is unsolicited, but i decided to google them. i couldn't find anything about them. the survey website is niinutrition.org but it's just the sign in page for the survey.

i don't want perfect strangers knowing about what my baby eats. if it was from similac or enfamil, etc i would have no problem with it. but not some random company.

anyone know anything about this?

I can't imagine there being a lot of "choices" on an infant nutrition survey ..its either "formula" or "breastmilk", lol! Chat Icon

Sorry, just seems like a silly survey. I would throw it out. But if you want to do it I don't see the harm. I'm sure its anonymous and I'm sure its reputable. I can't see what a company could POSSIBLY scam out of a nutrition survey.

that's the thing. it's not anonymous. there's a special code that says it's me.

i already threw it out since i didn't find anything online about them. seems like a marketing ploy of some kind.

scam wasn't the right word...maybe solicitation would be better?

I bet its solicitation. If you filled it out I'm sure you'd start receiving things for the formula he uses or from an opposing brand or something..annoying!!

I get things like that once in a while here, I always rip them up and toss!!

I think I did get this and I think I threw it out. They get your information from the baby registries or what not. Chat Icon
