Shoes to a job interview

I'm a lawyer. Fairly conservative field. I have a job interview next week. I always dress in a black, skirt suit.

I just got a pair of patent leather peep toe pumps (these). I also just got these sandals. (but in all black)

I was thinking of wearing the peep toe pumps, or should I just stick to my closed toe pumps. Its just that they are suede and a little worn down. I wanted to wear something new. I'm torn. I figured the strappy sandals were too much.

What do you think?

definitely NO strappy sandals....I think the peep toe pumps might be ok though--I would do it, but my field isn't as conservative...

no peep toe shoes for an interview especially at a law firm.

NO strappy sandals. -
Personally, I'd go with a closed shoe for the interview, especially if it's a very conservative field - But I think you can 'get away' w/ the peep toe

Re: Shoes to a job interview

closed toe pumps.

My office is very conservative and we are not allowed to wear open toed shoes, or show any toes!

for an interview, better to be more conservative when it comes to dress.

BTW-I love the strappy sandals! Not for this, but just in general.

You can buy suede & nubuck cleaner in a drugstore to spruce up your closed toed shoes. The one I have come in an aerosol can, with a plastic scrubby top that helps fluff if all up.

those peep toe shoes are great!

I'd go closed toe for an interview though. Good Luck!
