I do too! Before I had a 2 year old I was against this show. I wasn't a fan. But my DD loves it so I give in to her cute little face, even if the show drives me crazy

ITA....some of these are pretty twisted and didn't make me laugh, they made me  But then all became clear as I read at the bottom, the author has no children. Anyone with a child would never joke about those things IMO

same here.....out of nowhere, Jack busted out with 1-7 in Spanish. Who knew he could do that?

Those aren't really jokes. There are actual links to the stories they are based on. I took it more as a commentary on how messed up some people are.
ETA-
If you read the first paragrapgh (where it is also clear this is to not yet born children), it says " disgusted & amused" by things she has read & seen, so disgusted seems to apply to the ones you mentioned & amused to the lighter ones, like Dora & you tube poop.

i don't think the author was just trying to be funny - although some of those things are! she was calling attention to the crazy things some parents do. but the woman who put morphine in her child's bottle is nothing something to be taken lightly, IMO. that woman is obviously ill.

i find it amusing because i know way to many moms that do most of those things (not the insane items like shoot with bb gun or store weapons in a diaper) I keep saying I hope to GOD that i do not do that if I have a child.

all of these are different things that the author has either seen pictures of or youtube videos
I remember the one where the kid got the xbox box for christmas but nothing was in it, i felt so bad for that kid!
