22 months and on a hunger strike....

I can't get Ava to eat anything lately except for some fruit but other than that she is eating very little......She still drinks her milk and water and some juice but THAT IS IT.....Should I be concerned or is this just a phase. Its been about a week.

I always wait it out with my Ava. I truly believe what they say, "They will eat when they're hungry." She always does. You'd be surprised how little they need in to get by. The fact that she's still drinking her milk and water is great, I would be only concerned if she wasn't doing that. It's so hard to see them not eat, but I feel like the bigger deal I make of it, the worse it is, so I have gotten more laid back about it.

ITA with Rachel. Every child goes thru that stage. I remember making like 5 different things & going crazy hoping my son would eat something. My sister told me he will eat when he's hungry. And sure enough when he was hungry he ate! As long as she's drinking she should be fine. Offer her little healthy snacks during the day. Or put it in a bowl where she can reach & she might just pick it up & eat it while playing.
