2 yr vaccine Q and do you give your DC a flu shot?
Which vaccine did your child get at 2 yr visit , and do you give the flu shot?

I don't remember what she got at 2 years but I definitely gave her flu- and will give her flu again this year.

We're doing the last of the MMR shots (Rubella) and we're definitely doing the flu shot this year since DS is starting nursery school in October. I hope he is not sick all the time

actually I just called our ped office and they said she 'll be getting HIB vaccine and a flu shot. I am still trying to decide on a flu shot. Last year she was so sick after a flu shot, not sure if it was from the vaccine or she picked up something from the ped office. I guess I have to think about it and talk to the ped..

DD gets the flu shot every year...DH is a teacher and I work in a school-type environment with lots of people who come here when sick...so the more protection I can give her, the better.

I'm not sure what vaccinations she will get at her 2 yr appt (she's only 19 months)....but we will def be giving her the flu shot. I'm expecting #2 in early March so I think it's important for her to get it (although I prob would have given it to her anyway).

at 2 years old neither of my dc got a vaccine, but thats only because i didnt delay any of their shots. and They have both been getting flushots since they were 6 months old. It is a dead vaccine and you cant catch the flu from it.

we didn't delay anything either, but DD is getting a HIB vaccine at 2 yr check up .
and she didn't get flu, she was just sick, but it's hard to tell if it was a reaction to a vaccine or she was just sick bc she got something form someone at the ped office

DD#1-Nothing at 2 yr visit
DD#2-Hep A at 2 year visit
My girls are both on schedule< i don't delay anything.
Both have gotten flu shot since 6 months old..I'm a SAHM but that doesn't matter, GERMS are everywhere and can be brought to them at the store, at grandmas, from their father.
Neither girl ever had any reaction to the flu shot.
AND the FLU can KILL and put small children in the hospital...I had the flu once when i was 16 or 17 and i wanted to DIE i felt soo horrible for over a week. I couldn't imagine putting a child through that...

I believe DD only got her Hep A  (or B, i forgot  )
at her 2 year since we were traveling.
Nothing else.

DS didn't get anythy shots at 2 - I think he was due for Hib but they were out (heard that it should be back in so he might get it at 2.5). He gets the flu shot every year.

We delayed a bit so he got MMR....nothing else though...
We dont do the Flu vaccine.
