1st IUI
So last month I started going to RSofNY and was going to have my 1st IUI this cycle...turns out they wanted me to come in on Monday for it.
I'm always around on Mondays and this one day I had to be somewhere and no way could have made it in....so frustrating of all days...
So we had to do it the old fashion way again, which isn't so bad, but most likely won't result in a BFP.... 
on to next month...
Does anyone know of anyone that's had any success with IUI? I read that a lot of women have it done several times but haven't seen one instance where it worked...

Actually, MrsJ got her BFP on her second IUI. Other then her, I don't know of anyone else on this board.

Sorry to hear that.
Off the top of my head our successful IUIer is MrsJ, I think it was her 3rd IUI that resulted in a BFP.

But there are many women doing IUI - you can search for Pauline (rose825), Donna (dmangel), Kathy (kat813), Kim (luvsun27) - sorry to whoever else I"m forgetting

I am glad you posted this :)
I too have been having IUIs done at Rsofny, without success.
I have been doing a lot of research on IUIs and Rsofny, has a different protocol than other clinics. I am very confused as to where I stand on how they go about it.....
There are reasons to do an IUI...for instance male factor or cervical mucus issues, if you are on clomid etc.
Out of curiousity Alex, how did they know you should come in on Monday for the IUI ?

HI... Kathy- MrsJ got PG on her 2nd IUI at RSONY. Im on my 4th there , 3rd month , had it on Saturday. Would love to say 3rd month was a charm for me...but still have to wait till next week. My IUI reasons are for a few different reasons and right now IUI is our best protocol....
GOOD LUCK!!! Hope maybe you wont need the IUI!

I am another IUIer. This is my 5th cycle. we have a male factor issue, and also clomid can dry the CM so IUI helps avoid that problem.

I have also been doing IUI's and have done 4 cycles on clomid. I'm on CD30 and have tested already and have gotten BFN so I'm thinking it did not work yet again.

Yes I got my BFP with my seconf IUI (on Clomid). There have been a couple fo girls who got a BFP with IUIs on this board besides me.
I was shocked when the second IUI worked - and obviously sooo happy.
I'm sorry you missed this months IUI but keep BDing and good luck!

I went in on Sunday morning and they said that my one follicle was at 21mm, took blood then called later that afternoon and said I as surging.
I'm not on any medications as of now and she wanted to see my natural cycle for a few months 1st with the IUI.
