1st dose of reality that life is not the same....
vacation planning!!
In August, we are renting a cabin in Gaitlinburg, TN with 6 other couples.
Usually we do this and plan a rafting trip....so I told DH I guess I will find something else to do during rafting time. He felt bad, and said hey, we can go horseback riding again, um no I can't. He said, Jan there is a 9 person hottub, great, can't do that either....
So then I realize Dollywood is a close drive, been years since I went, he has no interest so I will do that on rafting day....but does 50.00 admission seem fair if you can't go on any rides?

I sympathize
we were going to drive to maine- but I dont' know if that far of a car ride is a smart idea.
we're now going to FLA for a beach vacation on the gulf side.

I know what you mean. We have an anual trip in Aug that we go on - camping and rafting down the Delaware river with all of our friends. We wont be making it this year. I'm sad. We cant really plan anything right now, but its OK. I really think I'm going to want to be with the baby all the time anyway!

I was nervous about the drive, but it is only 4 hours and DH said we can break it up. A beach sounds great too.

Driving is not that bad - just make sure you stop every once and while to stretch. We drove down to Florida, in my 20th week. It actually wasn't that bad.
Things were weird that we could not do certain things, but we had fun doing other things.
